Sunday Worship

This Sunday we will have a special treat as a choir group from Cal Baptist University leads us in praise and worship!!

The scripture this week comes from Romans 3:21-31.

We will share in our famous Wesley Potluck after worship!! So bring a dish to share (or just a hungry belly as there is always enough!)

Thai/Chinese Dinner

Saturday February 20th we will host a Thai/Chinese dinner to raise money for the Katrina Mission trip.

Dinner is at 6:30 and will be a wonderful feast of asian food.

Tickets are $15 and all proceeds will support missioners with the cost of their trip.

Sunday February 14th

This week in worship, we will be studying Matthew 22 "The Greatest Commandment". We will also be taking time to bless our missioners to the trip and to commit to this mission, even if we are unable to go on the trip ourselves.

If you would like to be a part, please consider one of the following:

1) A cash donation to help cover costs.
2) A donation of a Lowe's or Home Depot card to cover building supply costs while we're gone.
3) Being a prayer partner who will pray with and for a missioner in the weeks prior to the trip and during the course of the trip.
4) Making a prayer shawl or blanket to be given to a family we work with.

Katrina Fundraiser

In the last year, we have done a lot of work to try and help those still rebuilding after the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina. In April, we will take a work team of 23 and join folks from other churches for a total team of 48 to work on people's homes so they can get out of FEMA trailers (yes, still!) and into their own homes. As part of that, we have been fundraising to donate toward rebuilding supplies. We are also fundraising to help our missioners cover the $650 cost of going.

Saturday February 13th, between 9:00 and 3:00 we will be doing oil changes and washes for both RVs and cars. All monies raised will go to help cover missioner costs for the trip.

If you have a car or an RV that needs an oil change and a wash (you must provide the new oil and filter), please call the church office to schedule an appointment. Cost is $30 for a car and $100 for an RV.
